Language of the Heart:
such a wonderful and glorious language to speak
A friend and former co-worker had a visit from her deceased Grandmother through a dream. In it, her Grandmother gave her some words of strength and encouragement, while at the same time gave her a message to share with me.
Her Grandmother had passed away a little over four years at the time she had this dream, and her Grandmother has visited her at least once a year in a dream, since her passing. Mostly around the time of her (my friend’s) birthday, which was also in this case. This is the portion of her dream that relates to me and my Princess:

I was in a big area (not sure if it was inside or outside). There were many
people, some I knew some I didn’t. For some reason, Jonathan and Mahsa were
there talking to my Grandmother. My Grandmother
and Jonathan were speaking Cherokee and Mahsa
was translating to me. She mentioned something
about “how it was such a wonderful and glorious
language to speak. But know the language takes
many suns and moons and even then some never do.”

She took Jonathan’s hands and covered his eyes
and said something about “many people” being
blinded by Love and other things in their life, they
may become absorbed by. Your heart speaks your
native tongue and knows it well. You are absorbed by
the words Love and friendship, but to you it means
one. You are not blinded, though it may seem to some
around you. Instead you are lead together on a
journey.”

She then removed Jonathan’s hands from his
eyes. She said to Jonathan and Mahsa, “both to learn
the words Love, friendship, and one in every way
possible. Not only will the journey be long and happy,
but Love will be eternal and they one.” She took
Jonathan and Mahsa’s hands and put them together and
said, “Even though the hands can hold tight and let go as needed, the heart
cannot. And so it is already written, be well.”
I want to dwell on those words “how it was such a wonderful and glorious language to speak. But know the language takes many suns and moons and even then some never do.” “Your heart speaks your native tongue and knows it well. You are absorbed by the words Love and friendship, but to you it means one.”
I believe my friend’s Grandmother was talking about the “language of the heart”.
So many times in a relationship, whether dating or in marriage, the relationship between two people is a one-sided “conversation”. And I say “conversation” because that is what the “language of the heart” is, a “tête-à-tête” (two hearts speaking to each other); “But know the language, takes many suns and moons and even then some never do.”
Now I’m going to take you to a “spot of time” in the past. I was riding in the car with my daughter driving, when she asked me a question. She asked, “Dad. How does Love feel?”
With a little hesitation, I answered, “I don’t know.”
Again she asked me, “How did it feel with mom?”
I told her, “It had been so long since I had felt any Love; I don’t know.”
Our conversation, related to the subject ended.
I couldn’t tell her then what Love felt like. But, I can tell her “now”, and anybody else that would like to know.
I was sitting at a red light, waiting for the light to turn green. I was in the driver’s seat, and with my right hand, holding the left hand of my Princess. And all we were doing was just sitting there, “silent”, eyes focused to the front. But inside my body, I could “feel” my heart being touched and caressed. I could feel her Love, wrapping its precious arms around my heart.

The best way to explain it is in this way.
The next time you go out camping, or building a bon fire, feel the warmth of the fire. As you stand close enough to feel the warmth of the fire, “feel it”, and meditate upon its warmth.
You can see the fire, but not the warmth. The warmth leaves the flames of the bon fire, and comes to you and wraps itself around you.
That is the way Love feels, wrapping its arms around your heart, and caressing it.
