GOD's Pearl of Great Price
a pearl; a translucent luster in the heart of Princess Mahsa
Somewhere in the waters of the Indian Ocean, from the Persian Gulf to the Timor Sea, an oyster feels irritation caused from the entry of an intruder. Immediately, the molluskan bivalve (the oyster) in fighting, and in rejection of the pain, caused from the irritation that it feels, coats the intruder with layers of aragonite and conchiolin.
In between each sheet of the mineral aragonite that covers the intruder, the mollusk secretes a very thin layer of a membrane-forming protein, horn-like compound known as conchiolin. Thus one of the wonders of GOD’s creations begins its transformation: a Pearl.
The beauty of a Pearl is captivating. Just taking the Pearl in your fingers and lifting it up to where you can study the brilliance, will reveal, the ‘AWE’ the beauty of its glamour. And it all started from the irritation from an unexpected intruder, into the life of a living creature. In other words “the results of something so beautiful and captivating, that started out of something so unexpected and intrusive”.
The thinking is, is that in every molluskan bivalve (clams, oysters, and mussels), a Pearl of such brilliance in beauty is being formed. Yet, naturally occurring pearls are rare, found in perhaps one of every, several thousand animals. But then we have another problem when looking for that rare quality of a Pearl.
This composite material make-up of aragonite and conchiolin creates the crystalline structure of nacre or ‘mother-of-pearl’. The mineral aragonite is made up of needlelike crystals that the mollusk layers upon the adverse foreign particle that has penetrated and disrupted the tranquility of its life. The uniqueness in the way the nacre reflects light, giving the so-called nacreous Pearl its high translucent luster, is in the building of the layers of aragonite and the layers of conchiolin.
That is, if through the ‘adversity’ that the mollusk lays each layer of the needlelike crystals, are laid neatly around the intruder. It is through these needlelike crystals, laid properly with the needles facing straight in an outward position, that gives the beholder of the Pearl a sense of ‘AWE’, in reverence to the beauty of the Pearl.
It is through ‘adversity’ that the creation of the Pearl, all came about. In contrast, the layers of the needlelike crystals, if laid improperly, creates a low-luster, porcelain like surface to the Pearl.

GOD’s Pearl of Great Price is the second book of

letters published, that were written by Jonathan Elias David

to his “SweetHEART!”, Princess Mahsa Elaine Tabori. The

first of the letters published are found in Language of the

Heart: such a wonderful and glorious language to speak.

Which is also written by Mohamad Rezar and published by

In both of these books of letters, you will see the

‘translucent high luster’ of Princess Mahsa’s heart as it

radiates and glows from the beauty of her face. Giving a

sense of ‘AWE’, in reverence to the beauty in her heart. But

the translucent luster did not come about without adversity

that had penetrated the tranquility of her heart.

The writer of Ecclesiastes writes in 7:1 “A good name

is better than precious ointment”. But he doesn’t stop there;

he writes on: “and the day of death, than the day of one’s

I used to wonder for years about what the writer had

wrote; ‘rejoicing at the death of a person, while mourning at

the birth of a child’. Finally after years have passed by in my

own life, with the struggles, the pain and the hardships of life; I feel I have figured it out.
Just as the oyster's tranquil life is suddenly disturbed by foreign matter entering it’s life causing it hurt and pain. A child being born, every day of it’s life, growing from an infant and into adulthood, the challenges of life, are at it’s Heart’s door; ready to cause hurt and pain.
But when our life is over, and we are laid to rest, will be the way our life will be remembered. Our friends and family will remember the silly and funny things, the things that made them laugh. But they will also remember the hurts and the pains that had come into our life. They will remember the struggles of how we dealt with these adversities. They will remember, one by one, of how we coated each of the adversities with Love from the friends and family that GOD had put into our lives. And in the transformation from GOD’s Love and the Love from the people he has put into our lives, a Pearl is being born in our hearts, radiating
a translucent luster that others see.
What will be the outcome of the life of this newborn child? As the hurts and the pains of life penetrates it’s heart, will it allow the Love from friends, family and GOD coat these adversities that have come into it’s life as the child grows throughout adulthood, so that a Pearl my be formed?
Princess Mahsa has had her share of adversity that has come into her own life. You can read her story in Language of the Heart.
The death of her biological Mother; an arranged marriage to someone she barely knew; moving across the oceans to a foreign land to be with her husband; being a foreigner in this foreign and strange land; and having her heart torn apart by her husband not valuing the trust and commitment she had in their marriage; consequently resulting in a divorced marriage.
Through all these hardships, she has allowed the friends and family in her life, along with GOD, coat layer after layer of ‘Nacre,’ over the adversities that have penetrated the tranquility in her heart. But not only was the adversities layered, with layers of nacre.
The nacre was layered properly and evenly, with the ‘needlelike crystals’ laid in such a way that the needle points pointed outward, giving the ‘HIGHEST level of TRANSLUCENT LUSTER’ radiating from the center of her heart. Creating the beauty, and the “AWE” of a glow about her face.
The ‘heart’ that my ‘heart’ Love, belongs to a Princess with such a ‘reverence’ of ‘AWE’ about the beauty of her heart. With raven black hair, dark brown eyes, olive toned skin, eyes filled, full of life.
The design of her eyebrows, forehead, checks and cheekbones, jaws and jawbones, chin and chin thingy (dimple) in her chin, her lips and the most beautiful nose in the world; all so ‘artistically’ and ‘masterfully’ designed by GOD.
With a heart that has been penetrated by adversity, and allowed ‘that’ adversity be covered, layer after layer, by Love. And what has ‘transformed’ from all of the adversity that has penetrated the tranquility of her heart is-------a “PEARL”.
